	| Description: |
	| This attractive warbler is quite different from the others. Males are dark brown and red and are very acrobatic. They dart around the mid-canopy, flashing their brightly-patterned, very large tails. The secretive females are a pale brown and yellow. It's scientific name is Setophaga ruticilla. This bird was the origin of the Setophaga genus. Originally the Dendroica warblers were seperate, but a recent study has combined the Dendroica with the Setophaga genus. As Setophaga was first, the Dendroica warblers have inherited this name. |
